What I appreciate most about working with Vilyana is her openness and a true non-judgemental nature. By openness I mean, Vilyana is very open to doing whatever I need to help and is strong enough to challenge my unhelpful beliefs. I find it reassuring that there is no particular structure to follow in sessions and her communication about this is really helpful. I would explain the process as very open to what the client needs. Vilyana brings a very positive and calm attitude to every session which encourages me to do the same. And I feel like her way of working is to teach or show me skills that will help when I am not in therapy and this is empowering. I had been told about self-compassion and was aware it had benefits. It wasn’t until we started practicing these alongside dialectics that I can really start to not only feel but understand the healthy way forward.
